my holidays

On my holiday I had to pick up horse poo. I picked up horse poo in 5 different paddocks. I have 5 horses and their names are koha katie Pepeha mela and lux. I didn’t want to do it but I had to.

There was me, my mum, my two little sisters named Paris and kura. and some other girls named Ariel and nizzoni. Kura tried acting cool in front of the girls. she was being mean to Paris and my mum told her to cut it out. and she called my mum the b word kura whispered it. but she does not whisper quietly. She whispers loud. so I knew if i could hear it then my mum could. Then mum chased my sister around the paddock. I was trying my best not to laugh. because if my mum sees or hears me then I’m next.

Like I said, I did not wanna do it. But my mum made me do it. My sisters wanted to do it though. It was hard and boring i keeped on squashing the horse poo. and After me Paris and Kura got McDonalds.  i got a big mac, a large fanta no ice with chips.  and my sisters got the same. my mum got 2 cheese burgers and a big mac chips. and a large fanta no ice and that was it.

Whakatauki

Today we made a whakatauki a strong message and we did it in Te Reo Maori and then in English.

i did He Kai Kei aku ringa and that means There is food at the end of my hands.

what i learned at school this week

Hi my name is Rachael and this week we learned about an area of an triangle

and what type of an triangle there are and the angle of the triangle

and the code a lot

we also did decimal points and regrouping was hard for me

i also read a book about bees and here are some things

about it

Te Aro school decided to keep

bees in there garden because

bees help with  reproduce plants

in ongoing cost to be a beekeeper is that hives need protection.

from varroa mites and during the winter.

they need to be feed on sugar syrup.

the purpose of varroa strips in beekeeping.

is that beekeepers use varroa treatment strips these strips.

contain mitcides-chemicals that kill mites .

Te Aro school couldn’t sell there honey because.

there didn’t have enough to sell if the students had looked after.

the hives they would of had  honey to sell.

How did the students plan it.

they had needs and whats and a budget.

they need varroa strips and sugar.
